CD ROMs and DVDs are so nineties but they are still used; and they are still a great way to get lots of content to your clients.
A CD can hold 650 Megabytes of data if you were to download that, in New Zealand, it could take a couple of hours. DVDs can hold up to 8 Gigabytes of information and even with the fastest connection out there it's going to take a while. So, it's going to be some time before either format is going to be obsolete.
With both CDs and DVDs you can also include multimedia, video, audio and large data files. And CDs and DVDs can interact with websites to download more topical information. When you give a client a disc, which is packaged and branded, it conveys a different message to a webpage, often having a higher percieved value.
